Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9953322A1] A solid phase apparatus, for detection of endotoxin in a liquid sample using reagents located within solid support material, comprises endotoxin sensitive reagent and buffer components. When a liquid sample containing endotoxin is applied to the apparatus the endotoxin sensitive reagent reacts with the endotoxin to form at least one product, and following contact of the at least one product with buffer components, an endotoxin indicator is formed. Also disclosed are a method and a kit to test for endotoxin.
