A hollow section is formed by shaping and straight-bead welding a band tin-plated on one side. This is done in one continuou operation. Rolling, spraying or fire-tinning and dipping apply a layer of tin. An edge area of the band forming a later bead on hollow section is prepared for a weld joint.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines innen- und/oder außen verzinnten Hohlprofiles, insbesondere eines Kupferrohres. Hierbei wird das Hohlprofil durch Formen und Längsnahtschweißen eines mindestens einseitig verzinnten Bandes gebildet.
