Abstract (en)
Continuously cast slab profile adjustment comprises adjusting strand guide roller position and force application to achieve preset target profile for each operating condition. Adjustment of a continuously cast slab profile, which is determined according to given curvature or taper requirements by t gap geometry of the strand guide rollers (2) of the guide segments (4) of a strand guide system, is carried out by positioning the g rollers, at least in the region of final solidification of the strand (1), and setting the requisite adjusting force of adjuster (16) so a preset target value for the slab profile is set for each characteristic operating condition. Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Einstellen des Brammenprofils einer stranggegossenen Bramme, insbesondere einer Dünnbramme (1), wobei das Profil entsprechend gegebenen Anforderungen an dessen Bombierung bzw. Keiligkeit durch die Spaltgeometrie von Strangführungsrollen (2) der Führungssegmente (3-n) eines Strangführungssystems bestimmt wird. Das Verfahren wird dadurch verbessert, daß die Anstellung der Strangführungsrollen (2) zumindest im Bereich der Resterstarrung des Stranges (1), sowie die hierfür erforderlichen Stellkräfte von Stellmitteln (16) so bestimmt werden, daß für jeden charakteristischen Betriebszustand ein vorgebbarer Sollwert für das Brammenprofil eingestellt wird. Die Berechnung kann mit Hilfe von Online-Prozeß-Modellen erfolgen. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine geeignete Vorrichtung zum Einstellen des Brammenprofils. <IMAGE>
