Abstract (en)
The intake includes an air filter for the induction unit. it includes a casing with walls bounding a cavity through which th induction air flows. The walls (5, 6) have surfaces (12, 13; 14, 15; 16, 17; 18, 19) with relatively thin walls with the aim of creating defined resonance frequencies. These surfaces may be round, square or rectangular.

Dieses Einlaßorgan kann durch ein Luftfilter oder eine Sauganlage einer Brennkraftmaschine dargestellt sein. Beide weisen ein Gehäuse mit Wandungen auf, die einen Innenraum des Gehäuses begrenzen, der beim Betrieb der Brennkraftmaschine mit Ansaugluft durchströmt wird. Zur Erzielung vorteilhafter psychoakustischer Effekte sind die Wandungen mit relativ dünnwandigen Flächen zur Erzielung definierter Frequenzen versehen.
