[origin: EP1043493A2] The intake includes an air filter for the induction unit. it includes a casing with walls bounding a cavity through which th induction air flows. The walls (5, 6) have surfaces (12, 13; 14, 15; 16, 17; 18, 19) with relatively thin walls with the aim of creating defined resonance frequencies. These surfaces may be round, square or rectangular.
