Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2785540A1] The invention concerns a method for improving the stability of at least a 1,3,5-triazine derivative to UV radiation in the absence of any dibenzoylmethane derivative. The invention is characterised in that it consists in associating with said 1,3,5-triazine derivative an efficient amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of: (a) the compounds comprising at least a group of formula (I), wherein: Ar is a phenyl optionally substituted by R7; G is hydrogen, alkyl or a phenyl radical optionally substituted by R'7; R7 and R'7, identical or different, represent hydrogen, alkoxy; alkyl or a group comprising at least a silicon atom; D and E, identical or different, represent COOR8 or R9; provided that at D or E is different from hydrogen and that when G represents hydrogen, at least one of groups D and E is COOR8; R8 is an alkyl or a group comprising at least a silicon atom; R9 is hydrogen or N; (b) compounds such as 1-acrylonitrile-3-isoindolinone; (c) compounds such as alkyl delta , delta '-diphenylbutadienedicarboxylate or such as alpha -cyano- delta , delta 'diphenylbutadienecarboxylate.
