[origin: WO9838020A1] The invention concerns a method and equipment for the machining of logs. According to the invention, the drilling of holes, making of indentations and other machining operations done on the logs are performed consecutively with each machine tool doing only the task allotted to it. The equipment includes machine tools (14) for machining the ends of the logs and rotating devices (15, 18) for rotating the logs for the purpose of machining their other ends with the same equipment (14).
