[origin: DE19916626C1] A wiper made of fringes or similar capable of suction forms part of a wiper mop with a handle. With its lower end, the wiper is connected to the end of the handle and with its upper end is releasably connected to a hand grip movable in relation to the handle. To drain the wiper mop, the hand grip is moved in the direction of the lower handle end. The handle (2) in an upper first part area (B) in the area (A) covered by the wiper in the outwardly drawn tensioned position is provided with a groove helix (8) in which is a guide component (9) of the hand grip (7). A lower second part area (C) is provided, which releases the guide component and with it the hand grip.
