The crusher unit consists of a receptacle in the form of a truncated cone, cylinder or hyperboloid of revolution. One side o the receptacle is open and the other closed by a sealing plate which may be flat, convex or concave. The top part of a punch is in t form of a hyperboloid of revolution. The receptacle and punch can be heated.

Eine Einwegdose (10) wird in einer Preßform (11) durch axiales Bewegen eines Preßstempels (14) derart verformt, dass ein Teil des Dosenmantels (17) in einen anderen Teil des Dosenmantels gestülpt wird. Dadurch entsteht ein becherartiger doppelwandiger Preßling. Derartige Preßlinge können zu mehreren ineinandergestapelt werden. Es ergibt sich eine sehr hohe Materialdichte. Dadurch werden Lager- und Verpackungskapazitäten eingespart. Das Recycling gebrauchter Dosen wird vereinfacht. <IMAGE>
