Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen der Oberflächen von Schmitzringen auf rotierenden Zylindern in Rotationsdruckmaschinen. Die Vorrichtung umfaßt ein Wischelement (12), das an die Oberfläche (17) der Schmitzringe anstellbar und gegenüber einer Halterung (20) durch eine Klemmeinrichtung fixierbar ist. Es ist ein Schnellklemmelement (21, 22; 27, 28, 29, 30) vorgesehen, welches aus einer Freigabeposition (33) in eine Klemmposition (32) bewegbar ist. Das Wischelement (12) ist in der Freigabeposition (33) im Schnellklemmelement (21, 22; 27, 28, 29, 30) bewegbar aufgenommen. In der Klemmposition (32) wird das Wischelement (12) durch das Schnellklemmelement verklemmt, um das Wischelement (12) in bezug auf die Oberfläche (17) der Schmitzringe ortsfest zu fixieren. <IMAGE>
