Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2772276A1] The invention concerns a method for continuous treatment of liquid discharges soiled and/or contaminated by micro-organisms and/or biologically active substances, which consists in conveying by vacuum transfer the discharges into two parallel chambers (6A, 6B), in tipping the supply of discharges from one chamber into the other each time a predetermined amount of materials is reached in one chamber, all supply of discharges being accompanied by a supply of an amount of disinfectant determined on the basis of the amount of materials, in incubating the materials in each chamber (6A, 6B) for a predetermined time interval, then in evacuating them, the volume of each chamber being determined on the basis of the flow rate of discharges to be treated and such that in a situation where the flow rate is constant and at its maximum the time for filling the chamber is more than the cumulated times of incubation and evacuation, and when the supply of discharges is stopped, in starting for the two chambers (6A, 6B) a disinfection-washing- complete draining-off, including an incubation phase.
