[origin: WO9935350A1] The invention aims to provide a support element for attaching furring, which largely avoids thermal bridges and allows for simply, safe and economical assembly of the furring and the structures to be fixed to same in a variety of applications. To this end the invention provides for the support element to consist of a strip of insulating material (2) and a supporting strip (3) which is arranged above the strip of insulating material (2) and joined to same.
