[origin: WO0009849A1] The present invention relates to a revolving door that comprisesa ceiling driving support (10) which is integrated in a ceiling structure (7) comprising two segments (8, 9). This invention is characterised in that the ceiling driving support (10) is arrangedbetween the segments (8, 9), extends on the inner diameter of thetop edge band (11) and is connected to said top edge band (11) on the front side. It is thus possible to provide a member that rigidifies and reinforces the ceiling structure (7) so that other members in the ceiling structure, e.g. the mounts supporting the top edge band (11), can be designed at lower cost and with a reduced weight. When adapting the ceiling driving support (10) to topedge bands (11) having different diameters, only the ceiling driving support (10) needs to be elongated on the front side as its cross-section remains the same.
