[origin: WO9930488A1] This invention discloses a video sequence viewing apparatus including an image sequence display unit (110) operative to display a sequence of images at a speed determined in accordance with a control signal, and an image sequence analyzer (100) operative to perform an analysis of the sequence of images and to generate the control signal in accordance with a result of the analysis. A watermarking method including providing an image sequence to be watermarked and performing a predetermined alteration of the length of the image sequence is also disclosed.
