Abstract (en)

Disclosed is a dust collecting element (24) which is attachable to and detachable from an air cleaner main body (12) and comprises an ionization section (22) for charging dust in air and a filter (23d) serving as a dust collection section. A cassette section (31a) for supporting the filter (23d) is integrally formed with a casing (31) of the ionization section (22). Specifically, a plurality of ionization wires (33) and a plurality of pairs of opposite electrode plates (32a) arranged opposite to each other with the ionization wire (33) interposed therebetween are arranged on one surface of the casing (31) of the ionization section (22), and the cassette section (31a) for supporting the filter (23d) is provided on another surface of the casing (31). <IMAGE>

A dust-collecting element (24) is detachably attached to an air-cleaning apparatus body (12) and is provided with an ionizing unit (22) for electrically charging dust in the air and a filter (23d) serving as a dust-collecting unit. A cassette unit (31a) for supporting the filter (23d) is formed integrally with the casing (31) of the ionizing unit (22). On one surface of the casing (31) of the ionizing unit (22) are arranged a number of ionizing lines (33) and a number of pairs of opposing electrodes (32a) oppositely arranged and sandwiching the ionizing lines (33). On the other surface of the casing (31) is provided a cassette unit (31a) for supporting the filter (23d).
