[origin: EP1046426A2] The nozzle body (1) has a coaxial supply bore for the fluid to be sprayed tapering to an elliptical opening (12) forming the inlet opening for the outlet channel (11). The areas of the side walls (11b) of the outlet channel (11) adjoining the larger axi half (6) widen out in the flow direction (9) whilst the side walls (11a) of the outlet channel adjoining the smaller axis half ( run parallel to the axis (2) of the supply bore (8). The side walls of the outlet channel adjoining the larger axis half can form partial surfaces of a cone sleeve
