Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1046468A2] The clamping arrangement for workpieces has a hydraulically operated clamping force holder element with clamping bolt (2) an its holder piston (5) at right angles to each other. The holding force is produced by elements with wedge-shaped surfaces. The holde piston has a wedge-shaped groove in the bottom of which is a lengthwise hole. A gap between the wedge shaped groove and hole produces a guide track. One end of the clamping bolt has two wedge-shaped surfaces (14) at acute angles with each other and whic end in a lug whose external diameter match the internal diameter of the hole.
