[origin: EP1046480A2] The separation device uses at least 2 circular saws (K1,K2) for sawing planks from the tree trunk in relatively angled plane e.g. at 90 degrees to one another, at least one of the circular saws provided with a number of saw blades, for simultaneous separation of a number of parallel planks.
