Abstract (en)
The invention concerns the processing of photographic products. It is proposed to achieve the maintenance of a photographic fixing bath using a concentrated solution of fixing agent. The quantity of water necessary for the processing is thereby reduced, in particular for color motion picture products.
Replenishing a photographic fixing bath comprises addition of a concentrated aqueous solution of a fixing agent to the bath. An independent claim is also included for processing a photographic material, which involves a development and a fixing step. The fixing step is carried out in a fixing bath. The maintenance of this bath is achieved by replenishing.
