[origin: DE19801471A1] The device can be made of almost any material and generates a pressure meant to act on the skin and tissue of the person treated. A hose shaped part is guided along the surface of the affected area applying a medium (air, oil, water, lotion or tiny elastic or firm particles, etc.) to the skin with a certain pressure. The medium can be pre-heated but could also be particularly cold to gain the desired effect. The method is as effective as an invasive one but less expensive and less dangerous to the patient. It has to be applied in intervals and can be increased in efficacy by combining several methods.
