Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2771290A1] Cosmetic compositions containing an aroma component and a "perfluorinated hydrofluoroether" (I) as a solvent for the aroma component are new. (I) contains a total of at least 5 C atoms, comprises a linear, branched, cyclic or it is stated aromatic perfluoroalkane chain linked to a 1-7C (preferably 1-5C) alkoxy group, and has a boiling point of 15-100 deg C, preferably 30-80 deg C, at atmospheric pressure. (I) is especially perfluorobutyl or perfluoroisobutyl methyl or ethyl ether or perfluoropentyl propyl ether. The composition can also contain a cosolvent, especially ethanol or water. The aroma component is selected from essential oils, natural or synthetic fragrances and oleoresins.
