[origin: DE19853091A1] The inventive fuel injection valve (1), especially an injection valve for high-pressure fuel injection installations of internal combustion engines, has a valve closing mechanism which interacts with a valve seat surface formed on a valve seat carrier (3) to establish a tight closure. The invention also relates to a housing body (22) which is part of a valve housing (11, 22). A lift control disk (18) determines the distance between the housing body (22) and the valve seat carrier (3). According to the invention, the lift control disk (18) is arranged in such a manner as to encircle the outer periphery of an injection end (47) of the housing body (22).
