[origin: WO0030228A1] The invention relates to a circuit-breaker, consisting of switching contacts with quenching plates, a latching mechanism with an operating lever, an overcurrent and/or short circuit trip and plug-in contacts for the load current. The aim of the invention is to combine the advantages of l.v.h.b.c. fuse blocks and known circuit breakers and provide a circuit-breaker that can be used universally. To this end, the inventive circuit-breaker is configured as a plug-in unit in the fuse block format.
