[origin: EP1048598A2] At least one of the spools (3a -3h) which fit into the spool stand (2) can be moved independently of the other spools from a winding position in which the material web is supplied to the spool, through a movement running in the supply direction of the material web and thus across the displacement direction of the spool stand, into a loading/unloading position where the spool ca inserted or removed from the spool stand (2). All the spools which are to be inserted in the spool stand can be moved independently of each other from their winding posi to their loading/unloading position.
