Bei einer selbstfahrenden Arbeitsmaschine, insbesondere einem Mähdrescher, mit dachseitig angeordnetem Motor (3) und bodenseitigem Kraftstofftank (2) soll erfindungsgemäß die Treibstoffversorgung des Motors in der Startphase bis zur vollen Treibstoffversorgung durch die herkömmliche Kraftstoffpumpe (5) durch einen Startmengenspeicher (9) sichergestellt werden, der oberhalb der Einspritzpumpe (4) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
