[origin: FR2773977A1] The base (1) of the mixer-blender has raised guides (20) to accept the base of the removable mixing bowl (7). The rotating tool (14) is supported in the base of the bowl. The raised guide has projecting tongues (17) which hold the tool clear of the drive shaft (5) until the bowl is correctly in place, when it pushes the tongues clear and allows the drive shaft to couple with the tool.
