[origin: WO0012265A1] The invention relates to a shot-blasting wheel (1) for a shot-blasting machine which can be rotated about its longitudinal axis, is motor-driven and configured as a blade wheel. In its central area said wheel has a metering sleeve (7) with a metering opening (8). Together with the shot-blasting wheel (1) an auxiliary shot-blasting wheel (9), into which the shot medium to be accelerated is fed in the axial direction, rotates in the metering sleeve (7). According to the invention, the feed opening (3) for the shot medium discharges into the auxiliary shot-blasting wheel (9), in whose centre a rotating body (11) is provided for, at the side of the rotating body (11) and in the direction of rotation of the shot-blasting wheel (1) behind the metering opening (8), and the length of the rotating body (11) corresponds at least to the width of the auxiliary shot-blasting wheel (9).
