A = residue of formula (i)-(iv) G = hydrogen, halo, nitro, carboxy, cyano, hydroxy, 1-6C linear or branched alkyl, alkoxy or alkoxycarbonyl, benzyloxy, (CH2)aNR<3>R<4>, SO2NR<3>'R<4>', OSO2R<5> or phenylaminosulfonyl, ring-substituted by -NHCOR<2>'; a = 1-4; R<3>, R<3>', R<4> and R<4>' = hydrogen, phenyl or 1-6C linear or branched alkyl or acyl; R<5> = 1-5C linear or branched alkyl, or benzyl or phenyl (these optionally substituted by 1 or 2 of halo, nitro, cyano, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy or 1-4C linear or branched alkyl); R<1> = hydrogen or 1-3C linear or branched alkyl; D, E, L or M = hydrogen, halo, nitro, cyano, hydroxy, carboxy, dimethylaminosulfonyl, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, or 1-5C linear or branched alkyl, alkoxy or alkoxycarbonyl; R<2> and R<2>' = adamantyl, 2-6C linear or branched alkenyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl (optionally substituted by halo),1-9C linear or branched alkyl (optionally substituted by 1-3 of 1-6C alkoxy, hydroxy, cyano, azido, halo, nitro, amino, trifluoromethyl or phenyl (itself optionally substituted by nitro, halo, hydroxy or 1-4C linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy)) and/or alkyl optionally substituted by -OCOR<6>; R<6> = 1-5C linear or branched alkyl optionally substituted by carboxy; or R<2> and/or R<2>' is 5-ethyl-1,3-dioxan-5-yl or 3-ethyl-oxetan-3-yl.
