[origin: WO9936499A1] The invention concerns hard surface cleaning compositions comprising a nonionic surfactant, a UV absorber and a water soluble anionic polymer. The compositions leave sufficient UV-absorber on the surface after cleaning to provide extended protection of the surface against the damaging effect of UV light. Preferably the compositions also contain a hydrotrope such as an aromatic sulphonate salt and/or an organic solvent such as a glycol ether or a lower aliphatic alcohol.
