[origin: DE19802792A1] A method to inhibit DNA caused by a p53 mutant is new, and comprises inhibiting the binding of mutant p53 to DNA with strand dissociation potential. An Independent claim is also included for a system to identify substances that inhibit DNA modulation caused by mutant p53, comprising a mutant p53 and DNA with strand dissociation potential.
