[origin: FR2786239A1] Friction device comprises cage-shaped non-rotating housing (50) in which thrust structure (30), assembly of coaxial friction disks (21,22,23,24,25) and support structure (40) are housed. Housing has peripheral wall provided with ventilation openings. Friction device is actuated by pneumatic actuator (60) connected to central part of thrust structure through central opening in end wall of housing. Heat insulation is arranged between disk assembly and housing exterior on side of end wall provided with bearing (11) for shaft (10). Heat insulation comprises thermal barrier (76,77,78,79) located at bearing.
