[origin: GB2350762A] A method is provided for despreading a signal which has been spread by a code and modulated according to a non-linear modulation scheme. The method comprises transforming the code into a succession of phasor positions (405) and correlating the spread signal with the transformed code (406). A despreader, demodulator and communications device implementing such a method are also provided.
