Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1050234A1] The applicator (4), made from an elastically deformable material and having a surface (3) of an absorbent material, especial foam with open or semi-open cells, has gripper plates (2) that can be squeezed between the fingers to vary the shape of the applicator surface. The gripper plates are joined by a thin connecting piece (14) passing through a raised rib (17) on the back the applicator, and can be fitted with clips to hold them in the deformed position.
