[origin: EP1050648A1] The strike plate (4) is intended to be positioned in a groove (7) made in the rabbet (2,3) of a door frame. It is formed fro shoe (18) adjusted to the opening section in the groove. The shoe receives an indexer which engages a commentary indexer in the bottom of the groove in order to guarantee the correct positioning of the fitting along the groove.
