Abstract (en)
An electrical contact is disclosed having particular advantage for use in printed circuit boards. The electrical contact includes a lower section for insertion into an aperture contained in a printed circuit board. The lower section includes segmented fingers. An elastomeric insert is inserted between the segmented fingers to control compression of the fingers when the lower section of the contact is inserted into the aperture in a printed circuit board. <IMAGE>
