[origin: FR2786361A1] The invention concerns a multipurpose machine for picking fruits consisting of a straddling frame bearing shaking members (9, 10) for driving the straddled plants in a reciprocating lateral shaking motion (or any other system) and means for transporting (11, 12) the products harvested by the shaking members from the shaking zone to a fruit-collecting element (13, 14) consisting of two underframes (1, 2) arranged on either side of a median longitudinal plane, each of the underframes bearing transporting means, the spacing between the two underframes being adjustable.
