Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2774507A1] The invention concerns a method for easily locating an electrode among all the electrodes of a network (R), which consists in subdividing the network (R) into several successive base groups (Zb) comprising the same number of m electrodes (e, m), in assigning a serial number (Q) to each base group (Zb), in assigning a position (I) to each electrode (e, em) in its base group (Zb), in attributing to each electrode (e, em) a code (C) consisting of a serial number (Q) of the base group (Zb) in which it is located and the position (I) it occupies in its base group (Z). The invention is particularly useful for locating faulty electrodes in a display panel.
