Abstract (en)

A mixer (1) for mixing loose powder, granular and liquid materials, comprises a mixing chamber (8) internally of which a shaft (4) rotates. The shaft (4) bears a plurality of radial blades (13) for agitating the materials. The mixing chamber (8) is provided with an inlet (10) for a liquid. Upstream of the mixing chamber (8) is a batching chamber (6) for a loose material. Each blade (13) comprises a first part which extends lengthwise radially, and a second part, situated at a predetermined radial distance from the shaft (4), which extends lengthwise axially. The mixer produces a high degree of homogenization of components in a resulting mixture, with a relatively low degree of energy consumption. <IMAGE>
