[origin: DE19920761C1] At the end of filling the filling level in the bottle is increased by reducing the volume of the bottle. Immediately after this the bottle is closed. The volume can be reduced by lowering the pressure inside the bottle or increasing the pressure on the outside of the bottle or by mechanically squashing the bottle. Independent claim describes filling and closing device with mechanical squashing mechanism (7) with grippers (8).

Bei einem Verfahren zum Abfüllen von Flüssigkeiten (2) in Kunststoffflaschen (1) wird nach Beendigung des Flüssigkeitseinlaufs der Füllspiegel in der Flasche durch eine Verformung im Sinn einer Reduzierung des Flaschenvolumens erhöht, beispielsweise durch ein mechanisches Quetschen der Flasche. Durch diese gezielte Erhöhung des Füllspiegels wird schädlicher Luftsauerstoff aus der Flasche ausgetrieben bzw. das Eindringen von Luftsauerstoff vor und bei dem Verschließvorgang verhindert. <IMAGE>
