The ashtray assembly comprises of a metallic canister (1) that is initially sealed by a conventional ring pull lid (3). Afte use, the ash tray can be sealed using a removable plastic lid (8). Once sealed, the ashtray can be placed within the pocket and carried around. additionally, the can be filled with a granular material to enhance odor/ash retention.
