Abstract (en)
Processing tongs(12) are provided with processing arms(14,16). Each processing arm in the area of its free end is provided w a processing shell(26,28) partly engaging the workpiece(10) surface. A grinding band(34) is withdrawn from a storage roll and fed withdrawal device between the processing shells and the workpiece surface. At the free end of one of the processing arms is an in-process measurement device(24), with which the workpiece surface is measured during process.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Bandfinishen von gekrümmten Werkstückoberflächen (30), wobei das Schleifband (34) mittels zweier Bearbeitungsschuhe (18,20) auf die Oberfläche (30) des Werkstücks (10) aufgepresst wird und gleichzeitig die zu bearbeitende Oberfläche (30) bzw. das Werkstück (10) mittels einer Inprozess-Messeinrichtung (24) vermessen wird. <IMAGE>
