Vorrichtung (1), insbesondere manuell zu betätigende und transportierbare Vorrichtung, wobei zur Umreifung und/oder Umbündelung von Paletten und Gegenständen mit wenigstens einer Grundplatte (8), mit einer Bandführeinrichtung (3), und mit wenigstens einer am vorderen Ende der Bandführeinrichtung (3) angeordneten Klemmeinrichtung (15) versehen ist. An der Grundplatte (8) ist eine Führungseinrichtung (7) angebracht, in welcher die Bandführeinrichtung (3) entlang der Führungseinrichtung (7) geführt ist. Am vorderen Ende der Bandführeinrichtung (3) ist lösbar ein Wagen (9) angebracht, der Wagen (9) weist eine Umlenkeinheit (10) auf. An dem Wagen (9) ist ein Längenbegrenzungsband (20), welches in mehreren Bereichen der Grundplatte (8) fixierbar ist, an dem Wagen (9) befestigt. <IMAGE>
