Abstract (en)
The apparatus (V) to combine a continuous elastane yarn (E) with a staple fiber yarn (F) or two staple fiber yarns, using ai eddies, has jets (3,3') in succession, to impart a twist to the yarns (F,E). A twist stopper (4,4') is in front of the leading j (3), in the direction (A) of yarn travel, and after the trailing jet (3'). A twist stopper (5) is between the jets (3,3') in the yarn path. The twist stoppers (4,4',5) are rotating rollers, aligned with the jet axes. The outer twist stoppers (4,4') carry the yarn round them by at least 90 degrees , and the yarn passes at least 180 degrees around the center twist stopper (5). The two jets (3,3') twist the yarn in the same direction or in opposite directions. The assembly (V) has the jets (3,3') and the twist stoppers (4,4 in a symmetrical array, and yarn paths (L,L) of equal lengths between each jet (3,3') and their associated twist stoppers (4,5; 4',5). Each jet (3,3') is connected to an individual compressed air supply (2,2'). The vertical gap between the center of the je (3,3') and the axes of the twist stoppers (4,5; 4',5) and the length of the yarn sections is 25-50 mm and pref. 30 mm/ The twist stoppers (4,4',5) all have the same dia. of 15-30 mm and preferably 22 mm.

Die Vorrichtung (V) zur Verbindung eines Endlos-Elstanfadens (E) mit mindestens einem Stapelfasergarn (F) oder von zwei oder mehr Stapelfasergarnen enthält zwei hintereinander angeordnete Düsen (3, 3'), in denen den Fäden (F+E) ein Drall aufgeprägt wird. In Garnlaufrichtung (A) ist vor der ersten (3) und nach der zweiten Düse (3') und zwischen diesen je ein Drallstopper (4, 4' bzw. 5) angeordnet. Die Drallstopper (4, 4', 5) sind durch rotierbar gelagerte Rollen gebildet und sie sind fluchtend mit den Achsen der Düsen (3, 3') angeordnet. Die äusseren Drallstopper (4, 4') sind vom Garn um mindestens 90° umschlungen, der mittlere Drallstopper (5) um mindestens 180°. <IMAGE>
