[origin: DE19913938A1] The inner drum (1) comprises two separate half-shells (2,3) each extending across half of the drum periphery. At least one half-shell (3) can be shifted in the axial direction (26) in relation to the other half-shell (3). The inner space of each shell (2,3) is divided by at least one partition (21-24) into at least two adjacent parts (12-17). When the inner drum rotates, at least one section of a half-shell (2) forms a joint inner drum chamber (18-20) with at least one opposite section of the other shell (3).
