Um Schornsteininnenrohrelemente (12) mit Falzen (10,11) zur Verbindung mit dem nächsten Schornsteininnenrohrelement kostengünstig herzustellen, wird vorgeschlagen, das aus einem Werkstoff mit Hohlräumen (2) bestehende Schornsteininnenrohrelement jeweils an seinem einen Endabschnitt (11) von innen nach außen und jeweils an seinem anderen Endabschnitt von außen nach innen umlaufend etwa auf die Hälfte seiner Wanddicke zu einem Falz zusammenzupressen. <IMAGE>
