Abstract (en)
A process for manufacturing transformers, in particular miniaturized transformers for battery chargers, provides the steps of associating with a support frame (3), a primary winding (2) arranged to receive electricity supply and a secondary winding (6) insulated from the primary winding and arranged to supply electricity. Once a core of ferromagnetic material (7) passing through the cavities defined inside the primary and secondary windings has been associated with the support structure, an outer protection structure (11) is made for the frame, windings and core which is associated with the structure of the transformer itself while it is being made. <IMAGE>
