[origin: WO9941089A1] An automatic electronic control logics based positioning device (40) for setting a necklace in motion on a diamond tool equipped machine which is capable of carrying out workings on necklaces. Said machine comprises a feeding station of said necklace and a working station where a clamp is positioned, said clamp being capable of temporarily blocking the advancement of said necklace. Said machine further comprises hooking and dragging means of said necklace along a predetermined (X) axis, which are suitable for hooking a stitch thereof and of translating said necklace by a distance which is predetermined and adjustable with a suitable electronic control logics, when it is being worked.
