[origin: WO9941464A1] The invention proposes to suck up foul air directly at source, that is from inside the bowl (C), by means of a continuous conduit (10, 9, 7, 4) wherein is integrated or incorporated the flush water tank (1) overflow conduit (7). The foul air is sucked up into the continuous conduit by mechanical ventilation (VM). A bell (20), combined with orifices (30) provided in the tube (7), enables said tube to function as overflow without allowing the foul air to come into contact with the water, without suction head loss. The invention can be easily applied industrially to newly installed washroom facilities, and in hotels as well as for renovating/rehabilitating existing ones.
