Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9941470A1] A roofing system for a roof having a pitch of at least 5 DEG comprises a plurality of lightweight panels (2) fitted together so that a part of one panel rests on and overlaps the next, and is characterised in that each panel has a downwardly-projecting lip (10) at its lower end and a stepped portion (3) at its upper end, the height of the step being at least equal to the height of the lip, the length of the stepped portion and the height of the lips being sufficient to prevent water seeping upwardly between the panels, in use.
