Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19857485A1] An assembly device (1) for assembling and dismantling a fuel injection valve (3) in a receiving bore hole (5) of a cylinder head (2) in an internal combustion engine, comprising an enveloping body (12) that at least partially envelops the fuel injection valve (3). An engaging section (14) that is used to exert a first force (FN) on the fuel injection valve (3) to hold said valve (3) down inside the receiving bore hole (5) and a second force (FD) to dismantle the fuel injection valve (3), in addition to a collar section (13) protruding from the receiving bore hole (5), are formed on the encasing body (12). The collar section (13) is provided with at least one thread (20) in which a dismantling screw (25) can be inserted in such a way that when the dismantling screw (25) is tightened it rests against the cylinder head (2) and transmits a dismantling force (FD) to the collar section (13), whereby the assembly device (1) with the fuel injection valve (3) inserted therein is moved out of the receiving hole (5).
